Can I use a poem from the generator in a card, book or product?
Yes. Poems you generate are yours, with no attribution required and no restriction on commercial use. The terms of use set this out formally. The example poems in the guides are a different matter — they are the site's own work, and are covered further down the same page.
The generator says I have reached a daily limit.
There is a per-visitor daily cap so the tool stays fast for everyone. It resets at midnight UTC. If you are hitting it during genuine classroom or workshop use, write in and say so — we would rather raise it than have you give up.
A poem came out wrong — a line did not start with the right letter.
That should not happen; every poem is checked line by line before it is shown, and a failed check triggers a silent retry. If you see one, send the word you used and roughly what came back. It is a genuinely useful bug report.
I want my data deleted.
We hold no account and no record of what you have typed, so in most cases there is nothing to delete. If you have emailed us, we can delete that correspondence on request. For advertising and analytics data held by third parties, see the privacy policy, which explains how to opt out and how to contact those companies directly.
Can I write a guest post or buy a link?
No to both, and no exceptions. Nothing on this site is paid for or sponsored, which is the only way the guides are worth anything.
